Cortex MD-102 Pro Mark Flat Iron, Pink

I have purchased this a few years ago from a kiosk at a mall. I was hesitant at first since link isn't my colour. But at the time the price was pretty expensive. This was my step up from a con air straightener that I purchased from a drug store is it was a big deal. I've used it to curl and straighten my hair and I've done other people's hair with the help of YouTube and the hair gurus.. And they loved it! I've even done a friends hair for a pageant. But there are more straighteners out there that are better.

I'm thinking of just buying another one to replace my now over-heating straightener.. I've had my straightener for 13 years now and I still use it from time to time. Like I said it overheats so I have to use more heat protectant. But the only thing that sucks is that there's no temperature control. And it takes a couple of minutes to heat up, but after using it, it takes forever to cool down.

I purchased the Cortex Flat Iron after my coworker raved about how great it is. I was very disappointed with its performance.
