This product is ideal for people that wear there hair naturally. If you want a permed looked this is not for you. This product is shampooed into the hair and then you comb the product through. I wear twist and natural styles. Vigorol helps me to manage my hair and I can still press it if I would like unlike a permanent! So it depends on the styles you are desiring to get!
