PYT 2-In-1 Mat/Pouch

PYT Mat / Case - Pinkit is a poor quality in material. Consider its cheap fabric material, almost 10 dollars was way over price!

I would not recommend to others... not with the price.

this is felt like. i say like because i think felt is flammable, so it must be treated with something to be a hot iron mat. one end is open and my my curl wand sticks out ever so slightly. there is a velcro closure in the center just under the PYT. i'm keeping it because i like the pink color, the iron fit's in snugly, and i just don't have the patience to return it. felt stretches though doesn't it over time? aaugh. if i had seen this before buying i for sure would not have bought it.

Bought three of these for my kids and niece. They do the job,but nothing fancy or outstanding about them. Kids weren't thrilled, but the price was right.

Conair CS66 ProShine Straightener, Purple

Conair CS64 ProShine Straightener, Purple, 1.125 InchI bought this straightener, brought it home, tried it and hated it immediately. It took multiple swipes down each small section of hair to get it straight and it still wasn't very smooth. Not at all what I was hoping for. The rubber or silicone strip that runs down the side of one of the plates grips your hair making it hard to slide it through your hair smoothly. The only part of the straightener that I liked was the packaging. It was so easy to put it back in the box after I decided it was going back.

I was very happy with this straightener at first but now it won't heat up. I don't know if I dropped it and knocked a piece loose or what, but it won't heat up at all. I wish I'd kept the receipt! I do not recommend this product to anyone who uses their straightener daily because apparently it can't stand much abuse.

I have owned and used this flat iron for nealy three years now and I just bought a new flat iron. This iron worked out okay for the first year. because you can't control the heat more than just "low", "medium", and "high", the heat fluctuates. Sometimes I've had to trick the heat by turning it off and on again to get it to heat back up. Yesterday was the very last straw. No matter what I did, I couldn't get it to heat up. It was only slightly warm and I could grab the iron part with my hand and hold it there since it wouldn't heat up. I'm disappointed. I

So if you're looking for a flat iron to use temporarily...one you can just trash later, by all means, by this one! But if you want something that will last, buy something-anything!else!

We needed to get my step daughter a straightener that has auto turn off since she kept leaving her other one on ALL the time. It's not to costly and it gets hot enough. My step daughter complains it doesn't get as hot as her other one but I used it and it works fine on my hair and I have more hair than her. I think she just doesn't want to give in and like it, hehe.

BARBAR 1800 1 in. Cordless Ceramic Flat Iron

Barbar 1800 Cordless Ceramic Flat Iron 1 inch, Matte BlackFirst, let's clarify -There seem to be three different types of cordless straight irons (and curling irons, for that matter):

1. Uses alternative fuel, typically propane cartridges, so it will work even in locations with no electricity.

2. Uses electricity to "charge" the iron so that you can later turn it on, heat it up and use it in a location without convenient charging capability.

3. A "portable" iron that heats through insertion in a separate stand but begins to lose heat as soon as it is taken from the stand.

This iron is one of the latter, type #3. You have to be near electricity in order to use it -the stand, at least, has to be plugged in in order for the iron to get hot. You can then remove the iron from the stand and use it without having a cord attached, then put it back into the stand if it begins to cool down. Think about how the girls ironed in Little Women: you put the iron in the fire, it gets hot, you iron a while, then you put it back in the fire. No cord. Same idea here.

This seemed to fit my needs perfectly; what I was looking for with this iron was lack of cord clutter... my current iron cord gets shut in my vanity drawers all the time -or the cord gets wrapped around the drawer handle -which is not good for the cord and frustrating for me. This iron did provide that -the stand sat back by the outlet, and the iron was much more "out of the way" because of the vertical placement rather than laying across the vanity. It was a big space saver and big clutter eliminator.

However, the cons outweighed the pros for me and I ended up returning the unit. The iron is much heavier than my other corded irons, even without any cord attached! It only heats to one level and there is no temperature readout, so all you can use to judge temperature is how well it is working on your hair at the moment. The thing that absolutely drove me nuts, though, was the "temperature achieved" indicator... three piercing, warbling tones. Turn the iron on and, eventually, "wheedee wheedee wheedee," it is hot. Use it on a few strands, put it back into the stand and pretty soon "wheedee wheedee wheedee." My husband tries to sleep for another half hour in our adjoined bedroom while I prep in the morning and he could NOT get used to this beeping, even through the closed door! It is very annoying.

A few other general information notes -there is a blue power light that glows when the unit is turned on. The on/off button on the iron is a slider switch, and there is a toggle switch on the base, as well. So you could leave the iron on and only use the base toggle to save time, I suppose, or vice versa, although I'd rather turn the base off and save energy, I think. The edges of the iron are very square so it is hard to get an even "flip" or gentle curl of any kind when finishing ends, and very easy to get "corner" marks in your otherwise straight hair. I did find that the straightener worked quite well for me in terms of general straightening, but I have very straight, fine hair, anyway, and really only need minor smoothing, not actual curl removal! Also, it is possible to plug the cord directly into the iron, not using the base, supposedly making this unit better for travel (since you don't have to pack the base), but I think the thing is still so bulky and heavy, why not get an inexpensive travel iron, instead? Or, as I've done, just go back to using a traditional, corded iron...

Meets my expectations, heats up quickly, beeps three times when its ready for use. I know some of the reviews I read the beeping sound was piercing but in my opinion , not too loud, but loud enough to hear from another room, which is good because I'm not always in the same room. Even in the same room it still isn't too loud for me personally. No regrets on this purchase. I gave it four stars instead of five because I wish the edges were more rounded for slight curls or flips.

ISO styler rolling styler black and pink &Zibra

ISO styler rolling styler black and pink &ZibraI hated it. The product was supposed to be ISO and it seemed like a knockoff even though I was told it wasn't after returning it. The tool however went against my hair making it super frizzy and far from anything perfect. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Oh and it didn't give me more volume or curls and it didn't even straighten my hair!

Ive heard a lot of reviews on this and people raving about it on youtube. I went ahead and purchased it, used it 5 times. Wasnt convinced, it did nothing and i gave it away. What a shame after reading all the reviews and seeing all the ads.

Im not sure what the complaints are about. I think this is a Great Product. It is fast to heat, has programable settings and the ability to turn off rotation. Complaints about noise are GREATLY exaggerated. It is no louder than my Sonicare toothbrush. I am a very satisfied customer and wish I could by an extra one for backup but they are no longer available. I guess that 1 bad review ruined it for the rest of us.....so sad.
