When I used this product I had terrible results. I would theorize because it has so much wax and filler to strech the conditioner and make it look like there is more of it than there really is so they can save money. This was disgusting, it was okay the first time I used it, but not that great, then it turned my head into a graveyard when the wax built up in my hair.

I ordered this straightener thinking it was the Corioliss Pro; I was too excited to see that I got it for such a great price that I didn't see the "CLASSIC" in the title. While this straightener works well, it does tug on my hair. Not a lot, but enough for me to notice it. This straightener heats up quickly; the picture on the website is misleading, the straightener is hot pink (or fuchsia pink) instead of a light pink. The cord is very long and the it has a good weight to it. It's not too heavy or too light (I prefer things with a certain weight so I could handle the items better). Amazing product for the price. Love the swivel cord. I can do my hair in a lot less time and can do a quick touch up the next day. I love this flat iron! Its small and lightweight but it gets the job done! I have a lot of really frizzy hair so it takes me a while to straighten my hair but with this iron it takes only about and hour! I love it!
I have hair that is naturally thick, wavy, and frizzy. This stuff puts the uncontrollable mop growing on my head in check with no problem at all. One of the negative reviews for this product comes from someone claiming to have very thin/fine hair. Why would this person be using a product to control thick/curly/frizzy hair if this person has thin/fine hair? If you are stupid enough to purchase a product that wasn't designed for your hair type, you really shouldn't be complaining about it not working correctly.

I was a die-hard Chi lover until my stylist used this iron on my hair. I had to have it and now that I own it and use it, I love it even more. I've used about every latest greatest iron over the years and this is definitely the latest greatest now!!! The blades can get nice and close to the root because of it's size and I have past shoulder length hair. The smaller size is no problem for my longer thick hair. I highly recommend this iron. I had been researching hair straightners for the last month or so and I must say I was impressed with this product! I received it in the mail today and just finished using it because I wanted to make sure it worked! I was a little skeptical at first when I got it out of the box and picked it up b/c it was very light weight but it really does the job! I have had another hair straightner that was 2 inches by Remington and I must say it didn't heat up near as quick as this one did. If your like me, I have really thick, natural curly hair and sometimes it takes me 3-4 times to get my hair straight which can be frustrating and very time consuming. This little gadget only took me a total of 5 minutes to straighten my whole head with shoulder length hair. :) It doesn't pull your hair like some of the other ones do and its easy to press together which is advantage for me b/c I suffer with severe arthritis. The temperature settings come as if you were setting the oven to cook something, 325, 330 degrees and so on, so be careful when you pick it up because it does get very hot as soon as you turn it on, it's also small enough that you can take it with you if you are a person that does lots of traveling. Also, this makes your hair really soft and a little shiny and I have well water and I'm always looking for products that will soften my hair. So, if you are reading these reviews all of them hold true about the product and I'm a very picky/particular person when it comes to buying things, especially online! Hope this helps for those of you looking for a good hair staightner. :)

I ordered this to replace the Chi that my daughter "borrowed" from me. It is a good straightener but it is not the Chi and understandably so since it was 19.99 and the Chi is 119.99. So for anyone expecting the Chi quality for this price, it isn't going to happen. The iron heats up very quickly which is nice. It also does a good job straightening. The complaint I have is that the plates aren't super smooth and if you aren't careful it will leave a crease in your hair where you started straightening. With that said, some minor adjustments in how you hold it and the pressure you apply alleviates this. I've been straightening my hair for over 10 years (not everyday of course), but this is by far the best I've had! I can't believe I only paid $16 on Amazon for this thing. I own a $130 Chi and I actually prefer this straightener over the Chi. That's just my personal preference, I'm sure others might disagree, but to compare a $16 straightener to a $130???? I really like this straightener, because of the cute skulls and because it gets hot enough to straighten my hair smooth but not too hot where it's burning. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that it has no heat settings, it's just an on and off button on it. Wished it had a heat adjustment because not everyone uses the same heat amount. Other than that, it's a great tool!

Most of the time I really like my hair. It's naturally straight; the texture is fine (but I have a lot of it) and, with the right products, it's easy to work with. Notice I said MOST of the time. This iron snags your hair AND BREAKS IT OR PULLS IT OUT. The temperature setting is not adjustable, so it will damage your hair. Also it is titanium plates, you want ceramic or tourmaline plate for less damage, smoother look with shine and really straight hair. This worked as well as my walmart $20 flat iron. I would invest in a tourmaline flat iron with adjustable heat settings.

I just bought this off Groupon and it heats up quickly. It also glides smoothly through my hair. The only reason I didn't give more stars is that the outside gets VERY hot, to the point it was painful to hold even a couple inches away from the plates. I do like this straightener that I recently bought off Groupon. My only complaint is that you can't adjust the temperature. It is perfectly hot when you start but seems to get cooler as you continue to straighten. I just stop and let it heat up again.
