BaByliss PRO Nano Titanium ConiStraight Hair Iron

I have short hair (just below my ears) and my hair is curly. I purchased this iron for it's versatility. I want to be able to curl my hair or straighten it out. It straightens nicely, but because the iron doesn't close tightly it is hard for me to use it to curl my hair. I want to put just the tip of the hair into the closure and wrap my hair around it, but the hair just slips out. My hair is too short to wrap pieces around holding onto the hair with my fingers.

Other than that, this is a great curling iron that heats up quickly.

I was looking for something to easily pack as I travel for work alot and usually bring both a flat iron and curling iron and I thought this would be the perfect answer. Unfortunately it just doesn't function very well as either. As a flat iron it just doesn't seem to get hot enough or actually grip around the hair well enough so it is pretty ineffective. As a curling iron it is a little better, although again the split design really does not clamp well around the hair so you can't really trap the ends there and twist instead you have to use it more as a non-clamping iron where you just twist the hair around with your hand which I am not fond of as I always seem to burn myself (yeah lack or coordination strikes again...) So I am back to packing both instead of this combined tool which means one less pair of heels in the luggage...oh well!

I really like it, I can make different waves and they last for long but i wish it close tight. the only thing i don't like are the rubber thingy cos my hair get stuck in it when i get the curl out.
