This holster is larger and heavier than the listing implies, so it's very durable. With the tapered shape, it can hold a variety of hairdryer sizes. I would recommend anchoring at least one of the screws into a stud.

I purchased my hair dryer from my hair dresser so it's larger than most. I've been looking for a hair dryer holder compact, yet big enough to accommodate my hair dryer. The holders really keep my vanity uncluttered. My husband made sure to mount them on studs in the wall so that frequent use (removing and replacing the hair dryer,etc.) would not cause the holders to come out of the wall. The holder seems quite sturdy. My only complaint is that the weld or the area where the spiral joins the base is not finished very smoothly.

I'm glad I ordered 2 for my hair dryer and curling iron.
