The ceramic floating plates, temperature control dial and dual voltage would make this a great all-around flatiron, however it just didn't work for me. It can't be used for curling hair because the outside is grippy and your hair won't run across the surface. My hair often got caught between the floating plates and the handle. The plates tugged my hair regardless of whether I had sprayed heat protectant and waited for it to dry or used clean, dry hair. Also, this set does not come with a heat-proof bag like other sets on Amazon. If this product worked as expected I would recommend it, but instead I will recommend the Remington S5500 (not dual-voltage).Save 89% Off
