It has three heat settings, plus two speed settings & a turbo option. You can use the highest heat to dry your hair FAST or use the lower heat + the diffuser to get close and dry curls like mine (it comes with both a concentrator and a diffuser). I have thick, curly hair, so if it works for me, it'll work for anyone!
This blow dryer was much cheaper than the other products I've tried, but I was impressed by the overall quality and that it lives up to its claim. I'm very happy with my purchase. That's a good thing. The missus is the one who uses the hair dryer around here, so I let her have at this and here's what she had to say:
"My first impression of this hair dryer was big and heavy, as the dryer I've been using was a much sleeker-looking Remington Ac2015 Tstudio Salon Collection Pearl Ceramic Hair Dryer. I weighed both dryers, however, and they are both 1.5 pounds. I guess the bright color, the see-through body panel, and the wider air filter make this product look bigger than it is. And speaking of the color, it looks shiny red in the product photos and packaging, but it is more of an orangish pink with metallic finish.
When it came to drying, I feel this is about the same as my older model, even though the sales point of the D3710 is 50% faster airflow. I would say it probably dries hair much faster than typical hair dryers on the market, as I noticed a difference compared to a Infiniti Pro by Conair AC Motor Styling Tool, Orange. In general, any Remington hair dryer seems to dry hair a lot quicker.
I personally like the easy fingertip operation of the two push buttons on my old AC2015 than the sliding button on this D3710. Also, the diffuser of D3710 is very big and quite hard to put it on and remove from the dryer body. Overall, it's a good dryer with a lot of settings and it is reasonable priced. One final note: This comes with 2-year warranty, while the AC2015 has a 4-year warranty."

Update: well, second time I used this hair dryer, second fan stopped spinning. So no turbo or "extra 50% air flow" for me any moreIt does what it supposed to do it dries your hair. Not sure if it did it faster than my previous hair dryer (revlon). But I noticed that temperature was lower, which is a good thing it won't damage your hair that bad. My first impression, when I took it out of the box, was wow, this is heavy! and large! I am a regular sized lady with regular arms, but it was unconformable and awkward to hold this hair dryer at the proper distance away from my head for the 5 minutes that I was using it. I will keep it for the guests in the other bathroom and keep using my old hair dryer.

I was tired of cooking my hair so I bought this product after reading the reviews on Amazon from a local chain store and paid more than I would have had I gotten it here. I was skeptical. After all, this would be replacing my old furnace of a blow dryer. I have thick, abundant, coarse, wavy, frizz-prone hair once aptly referred to by a so-called admirer as "restless" and intense heat seemed the only solution. This new machine does not blow very hot but it has become clear that a blow torch is not necessary to produce good results. I repeat what I said before, without blowdrying these locks would make the Bride of Frankenstein's do look good. I suspect it's the force of the airflow that wicks the water off the hair much in the same way those commercial hand blowers get the job done in public restrooms--only more quickly. The bonuses are soft, shiny hair with ends that don't look fried and best of all the return of the volume that can get so easily lost when you dry the hair under intense heat--no more flat head for me. I cut the drying time by about fifteen minutes which makes a big difference. There will also be fewer "hat" days as I won't have to abstain to protect my hair from constant drying. I found this model comparatively lightweight but still on the noisy side--of course, that was at maximum setting. I think I'll get another and put it away "just in case" but I'll go through Amazon when I do as the price was about 25% lower. You may have to adjust the way you style your hair as you dry it due to the increased force of the air generated, but for anyone capable of drying their own hair that shouldn't prove too difficult. Try this one; I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.Want Remington D3710 Ceramic Fast Finish Dual Fan Turbo Hair Dryer, 1875 Watts Discount?
I love this hair dryer. I was in love when I took it out of the packaging and it looked like a mix of a science experiment and what appeared to be a red taillight from a 1950's classic car. It's sleek and made out of a material that will last. I recently tried a similar Remington hair dryer Remington Ac2015 Tstudio Salon Collection Pearl Ceramic Hair Dryer and one of the things I disliked about it was the material in the handle. I had an older hair dryer that once exposed to the heat under the bathroom sink, the material got sticky and I had to throw the whole unit out. I don't think I will have to with this one. It's style is classic, sleek and like the Lamborghini of hair dryers, no joke.It has a clear window so you can see the fans move in science fair action. And it works. I have long hair, really long hair and it takes about an hour to blow dry if I am lucky. But I dried my hair in half the time. It also has a cold air button that pushes down and stays there. My other dryers always had a cool button you had to hold down to style with it. It also has a turbo button, a sportscar feature. It blasts out a good steam of warm air and with one of the attachments, it was really easy to tame my wavy locks in other to use a straightening iron on it and make it nice and glossy flat for going to Thanksgiving gatherings tomorrow.
Another thing, it is very light. The other dryer I cited was heavy, which was ok for me, but I know others had a problem with that. This fits really good in the hand and it is easy to move the switches with one hand while you style with the other. This is the hair dryer I always dreamed of, even to the color and streamline design of it. I look forward to the many days of my love affair to come with this dryer.
