I have thick curly hair. and to try to straighten so it looks STRAIGHT it needs to be hot. I like the different heat settings that it has! :)

Also I like how it has long plates because that means i can do more pieces at a time. AMAZING. and it's affordable!!! :) :)

I giggle when the hair steams as it's being "encouraged" to do something else. :>)

Oh, it steams because I spray it with a styling gel before I start. It's dry when I apply the appliance but it still releases moisture. DO follow the 'structions.......

This flat iron doesn't get hot. Grabs and pulls on hair. Not worth the money. Returned and definitely don't recommend.

My first flat iron was an Andis and I lOVED it. It lasted me for a couple of years and it worked great. When it finally died, I was really upset because I couldn't find it in any of my local stores so when I found it amazon I was excited. However, after only have it for like a month and a half, it was completely died on me. It was a waste of my $28 because now I can't return it. I guess I'll have to find a new flat iron.

Love this iron, love Andis products, it came very quickly in the mail. I wasn't expecting it so soon. I coldn't be happier. There are more expensive irons out there, I have tried them but I'll take this one over them anyday. Love the longer plates too for curling.
