I had tried this brand of straightener at a demo booth in the mall. I didn't purchase it at the time because of the price and kicked myself for it afterwards! So bought it online and couldn't be happier! My daughter has very thick, naturally curly hair and this works wonders! It doesn't frizz the ends of her hair like some others we've tried and at the same time it takes the curl right out! We love it and think it's worth every penny!

I also saw this product at a booth in the mall. The man tired it on me and I loved it at the time. I did not buy it then due to the price. I got it from here and was so excited to try it! My hairdresser showed me how to curl my hair with the flat iron also. However when I got the straighter the curling technique the man at the mall and my hair dresser showed me did not work and only put kinks in my hair that take a lot of work to smooth out. Maybe I just need to practice. However one of the selling points of this flat iron is that you only have to go over your hair once. This is not the case I had to go over my hair just as many times I do with my old flat iron. It also has sparked at me twice while I have been using it! The first time it did it my boyfriend heard the POP from the other room and ran to see if I was OK and that it did not start a fire. So I will be returning this flat iron and I am going to buy a Royale Straighter hope that one is worth the money.

I purchased the hair straightener at a mall in Vegas at 10:00PM one evening for $140.00. She told me she would be there all day tomarrow if I had any problems with it. I tried to return it when they opened the next day. A different person was working. He would not take it back. It is not any better than the one I have that I purchased for $20.00. They are very over priced. Do not waste your money. I feel like I was ripped off. I am stuck with another straightener that is not any better than the one I already have. Do not pay their price you will be sorry!

Been through a lot of flat irons from cheap to hi-end Chi's and T-3's.

In addition to the plates not being flush with each other the iron was way to hot and the plates not smooth.

I was really impress when in Vegas they tried this product on me. However my results wasn't as good. I don't know if this is a original idem. I don't know. Well I don't recommend this product because I don't get the great results. I had been using the flat iron since 2003 so I can tell you I have a lot experience ironing hair.
