i had been using the "liquid keratin" treatment kit before and overall my experience with keratin straightners has been good. my hair is MUCH smoother and less frizzy. i wear it straight now but when i wear it curly is is MUCh better behaved and i use much less product than i did before. so that being said, i decided to keep using this type of hair straightnerinvested in a HOT (450F flat iron etc). however, i found that i wanted better value for my dollar as the "liquid Keratin" in the kit give little bits and the treatment itself difficult to apply with that spray bottle.

so i shopped around a bit and this company hadnt had many revews yet, but i was impressed by the amount i could get for my dollar. so i decided to order the kit with the treatment and sulphate free shampoo for my neice and i each. i recieved the products promptly and was very pleasantly surprised when they included a complimentary jar or the hair mask. well i was stll using the liquid keratin stuff. however, i got VERY excited when i used the hair mask as it made my hair feel even better!

so i was very excited to try the treatment, which i did 72 hrs ago. i am sooo happy to report that my hair feels just wonderful!!! this product has a LOT more fumes than the liquid keratin (so make sure you well ventilated and the air is blowing towards ur face and take the fumes behind you as they can burn your eyes otherwise). i washed it out today and i can tell u that my hair feels sooo smooth and healthy. now mind you, i am mixed black and white with a lil amerindian thrown in and i have thin naturally curly hair that i usually wear straight now. also, i HAD been using the liquid keratin before, but i think this product works MUCH better! and that mask is the BOMB!!! i have had done some trimming off of the relaxed and dyed hair i amd trying to grow out, but i look forward to having long healthy frizz free hair. and this product is a great value because i was able to use an 8.4oz bottle (twice as much as the liquid keratin and because its thicker uses less per treatment) in my hair which is medium legnth and a friend of mine whose hair is past her mid back, and i still have maybe enuogh for another treatment for me!

my only complaint is that the shampoo that i had ordered with it actually DOES list a sulfate ingredient and it doesnt feel as well in my hair as other sulphate free shampoos i use, even a cheap brand i picked up cuz it was the ONLY one in the store that ACTUALLY didnt have sulphate even though several of them claimed the same. (notecheck the ingredients even though they SAY sulphate free because many of them still have it in them!)

the effect of the treatment and the fact that they so kindly included a jar of their (miracle) hair mask, will make me definlitely do business with this company again!

oh.... and my 9 yr old neice is quit happy with her straight healthy hair and cant keep her fingers out of her hair. so maybe its a good alternative for younger girls who may want teh freedom of wearing their hair straight or curly without the damaging effect of traditional relaxers. definitely worth the price!!!

my hair is all natural and it does not do much to it all, the smell is harsh, the only thing is my hair was not frizzy

I've ordered the Original Brazilian Keratin Straightening treatment from Cocochoco a few times already. The first time I tried a keratin smoothing treatment was with their product, doing the application on my own. I ordered from them for one reason: the price of their product is a fraction of the other companies making similar products. I am a DIY'er for most things beauty and hair, so I am confident in my own ability to do the process, which I think is important.

After my second treatment with Cocochoco, I decided to try another (much more expensive and popular) keratin straightening treatment to see if the price makes a difference, and the results were the same as with Cocochoco, with results of the Cocochoco product being slightly better! So since then, I've stuck with Cocochoco. It's great. Leaves my tight curls much looser and much, much more manageable, which has allowed me to grow my hair longer than ever before. This is what I wanted from the product. Not pin straight hair, not faster straightening time (which it also provides), just looser, more manageable curls that would allow me to grow my hair long, without any damage. I wear my hair curly 98% of the time anyway. The only time I wear it straight is when I do the keratin treatment.

In addition to this, I've always had a positive experience with timely shipping, packaging of the product etc. I will continue to use this product indefinitely, and I consider it a miracle product to be sure.

I had never bought by Amazon and my sister recommended me to do so. the experience was not pleasant. I was really looking forward to receiving my product and never arrived. still this unfinished our negotiation, outstanding. I hope it ends well!

I hope I do better if another chance but I have little enthusiasm for doing it again.
