CHI Mini Pro Collection

I searched high and low for a dual-voltage travel straightener and happened upon this terrific set. I live in Europe and I have already ruined one expensive straightener, so this has been a God-sent. It works just like a CHI should and the bonus bag, products and blowdryer just add to it. The only challenge I had is that the bottle of Iron Guard was bent a bit at the top and when I tried to fix it, I broke the whole top off making it impossible to keep and travel back with so I had to let that one go. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product and thankful I found it. It has been perfect for my many travels to other European countries.

The blow dryer and straightener work as well as the full size items except they are compact. Great for travel or any day use if you are tight for space.

I tried the flat iron today and was so disappointed! I have fairly wavy--not curly, just wavy--hair, and after running the flat iron over the same small chunk of hair at least 5 times (slowly), it barely made a difference; my hair was still wavy. I normally use a $20 Revlon flat iron. It works way better than this mini chi. Maybe it's just not getting hot enough? I don't know.

Also, I found it kind of awkward to use. The handle is very short (of course, I know that is a given because it is mini-sized), and holding it up a little higher gets you burned.

I had such high hopes for this. Sad day.

I am very satisfied. The dryer and flat iron work great. I use both both in the house and while traveling. Iron is a bit small, and even though my hair is long, it works great for me.
