This straightener works well. I just wish it had an adjustable control for the heat setting. Otherwise, it works very well.

I am a man with quite short hair, so I didn't buy this for my hair. For those who do long-term storage, they will know that Mylar bags are great for long-term food storage. This straightener is absolutely perfect for sealing those bags! It is possible to use a commercial bag sealer, costing easily over $100, or to use a home clothes iron, which is much heavier than this. However, used on the low heat setting, this will seal those bags perfectly, and be very convenient to hold in the hand for a considerable length of time if doing a lot of bags. For such a great price I can't really imagine, though, why a woman would need one more expensive.
