well okay so i bought this straightener from walmart i was excited about it i mean ultrasonic conditioning? gotta try that!! So i got home next day i turned it on ultrasonic/heat it straightened it amazingly!! and i could hear the ultrasonic conditioning feature work its like a little buzz but at my ends it stopped working?(i have somewhat really damaged ends) so i didn't worry about i mean who would want to condition damaged ends? and i went on for a month and to be honest!! it actually worked the conditioning treatment works i didn't have as many split ends and breakage as i did before!! so i was well pleased and yes the ultra feature stops working when it gets to areas that are very damaged btw when i noticed that it actually worked i bought dove shampoo and conditioner i took a shower shampooed, conditioned and left my hair damp(not to damp) and i straightened it with ultra/heat and it actually worked pretty well and i kept doing that and of-course it helped my hair to be more healthy i have never had this silky smooth feeling in my hair ever!! but i have not tried using leave in conditioner but normal conditioner worked for me also i'am a guy with longish hair I'm kinda crazy into hairstyles that use alot of teasing and spiking usually fit in the "emo" look and it does alot of damage to my hair, I'm a stylist so i hope that helps. and the low cost of 54$ for this it's a great deal for what it does! SO YES i like this product.
