I have curly hair and it is very hard to straighten. I wanted a quality flat iron without paying high $$. The ceramic plates I know are much better for your hair than other straighteners. The 4 settings helps because some irons only have one setting and doesn't get hot enough. I use a lower setting on my daughter's hair. If it works for my curly hair, then it will work for anyone! I am very happy with this product.

I bought this product and I couldn't wait for it to get here.. I read some reviews on it and they were all pretty good.. But when my daughter tried it out it sucked.. Me and my daughter have medium to thick hair and when you put your hair in the iron the iron wouldn't clamp all the way shut..We noticed when we took it out of the box that the two plates seemed loose because they would slide back and forth.. And when you did use it even though it was loose it would pull your hair out.. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.. The only reason I gave it two stars was because it did heat up quick.. But that's the only good thing I can say about it..

WOoow...so the iron heats so fast..reaching 450 degrees in the highest setting! Wow that's HOT!!

I'm impressed!!; How the iron achieves this temperature without heating the whole iron???

I was thrilled to find a new hair straightener on Amazon, and even more thrilled to find one at such a great discount. This product worked great right away. I like the multiple settings for the heat level. I love the ability to use the curved edges to add a culr in or out at the end (Wasn't able to perfect it with previous tools). I noticed a reduction in fly-aways with this product and my hair felt great after using it.
