I was a Nexxus Exxtra person for sooo long until they evidently changed something in that product. If you are a gel person and need the extra hold, this is best that I have come across. I've tried a few others out there such as Crew, Matrix, etc, but I like this the best so far. It holds very good and doesn't flake or dry you out.
I've been using this gel for over 6 years, have tried others, and none comes close to this. A bit pricier than most, but worth it. It's alcohol free, holds strong, doesn't flake, and doesn't smell odd. LOVE IT!!!! Wouldn't switch for anything else.
