Redken 06 Sheer Straight Lightweight Straightening Gel Hair Styling Creams

I am on my third tube of Sheer Straight now, and I love it. It's really light; it doesn't weigh my fine hair down at all. Of course, this is not a miracle product ( I didn't expect it to be)...it's not going to perfectly straighten your hair unless you use a flat iron. It does seem to relax some of the waves when you're blow drying though, and give you a smoother platform for flat ironing. It has a nice clean smell, and makes your hair feel really soft. I like to mix this product in my hand with Redken's Iron Repair before blowdrying. This stuff will not leave your hair feeling stiff or sticky if you use it before blowdrying, so if you like hair to have a nice touchable feeling, this product is for you.

I received a free full-size tube of this from the company and after trying it several times for my fine, wavy, normal/dry hair, I finally gave up. It made my hair very stiff (even if I used a small portion) and actually made my hair MORE difficult to straighten. This made it thick and stiff and actually, not straight. My end-result was lightly wavy, frizzy, and weighed down hair. I wouldn't recommend this product. Try Got2b Smooth Operator, Smoothing Lustre Lotion instead. It's lighter, smells better, works great as a straightening cream, and is much more affordable.

Just recently purchased a second tube of this amazing stuff and that says a lot since I never rebuy any of my hair products. Give me sleek, staight hair. I do have to go over it with a hot iron, but I really notice a difference when I'm using it!
