U9 Digital LCD 450F Temperature Control Dual Voltage Wet to Dry Flat Iron

i was expecting the plates will same as whats in the picture. but when i got the product the plates was different its yellow and look like an old fashion ceramic plates. but i so love the design the cut of the plates are very smooth and the lcd temp control is really awesome. its very unusual for a dual voltage flat iron to get really hot but this one its really hot and fast. i was thinking to return when i first saw it but i gave it a try. and i say wow to it, the plates glide smoothly the result is very shiny and the ends of my hair are so mooth, it gives you the the healthy look, i would never expect this to a ceramic flat iron. i must say this is the best ceramic ive ever had. hoping to find a titanium version of this. i would definitely recommend it good for professionals and for home use. dont listen to the bad review probably its from another seller.

I ordered this off amazon.com. When it arrived, there were fingerprints all over the digital screen part and the buttons. I was put off by that, realizing that I was sold one that had already been used, but went ahead and tried it out anyway. After trying it, I realized the reason for all the fingerprints. You have to put your fingers all over the buttons and the screen to be able to use it and when you do, you end up accidentally turning the thing off or changing the temperature you had set! It doesn't even have a way to lock the temp in or lock it to stay on. Maybe other reviewers found a way, but I could not and I looked through the instruction manual. It seems so cheaply made too, that I can't believe this thing would get good reviews! For example, the description claims the plates are floating and create a gap-free hold. That is a 1/2-lie because they might be floating, but an obvious gap remains after trying to close it! The other really bad thing about this iron was that, where it hinges near the handle, you can see all the grease in the hinge!!! How could this thing get such good reviews and be made so poorly? Not to mention, the price. It should cost $15 for what it is! I swear I've never seen an iron that shows grease at the hinge. This isn't a car engine or a door for crying out loud.

This flat iron exceded my expectations. I loved it. Very smooth and you only need to pass over the hair one time. It will also give amazing curls too. I was so impressed. I almost want to by two just in case for a back up or if price inflates because its so freaking awesome. The price you cant beat. Dont let that sway you..its better than a chi iron. I give it five stars because it deserves it based on price, quality, and delivery.

I used this dual voltage straightener in Italy with an adapter and it sizzled and blew up the second time I used it. The temperature control buttons melted. Obviously, I am dissatisfied with this straightener that is now unusable. I am glad I was right by the straightener to unplug it immediately.
