Andis Ceramic Flat Iron - Black

I love, love, love this straightening iron! I have used cheap drug store straightening irons as well as the more expensive brands and this has the best features for the price. First, it clamps closed when not in use. No more trying the wrap the cord around to keep it closed for easy storage. Secondly, it has rubber grips on the end to hold while you are straightening your hair. Third, my hair is very fine but is wavy and this works just fine to straighten my hair. When I told my hairdresser that I was looking for a new straightening iron she said to make sure that I buy one that gets hot enough. This iron has 20 different heat settings. I usually set mine to about 10 however if you have long or coarse hair this should also work fine. Fourth, this iron has a 5 year warranty by a company that has been making clippers and other hair products for home and professional use since 1922. Lastly, it heats up in 30 seconds (the Amazon feature indicates 60 seconds). I debated between this model and another Andis model that has 25% longer plates. This is plenty long enough for my hair. I think that the longer plates would be nice but probably not necessary for my use. I am a picky consumer and have no problem returning products that I don't like and I am very happy with this purchase.

I have had his product for roughly 6-7 months, I have very stubbern medium, thick, curly hair that I have to wash and mess with every morning I have always wanted straight hair becouse of this. This product straightens my hair in minutes!! I'm not one of these women that like to spend a whole lot of time messing with my hair, so I have to have a product that will give me the desired look quickly. It dose take some time to learn a tenchnique, but I can do my medium length hair in about 20 min. I only have to do my hair every other day if I want now. The only con I have for this product which is my own fault is the arms moving around I have looked at several more expensive products and tried them, they would not straighten my hair I would have to iron twice as long which would cause frizziness, or the plates would not hold my hair tight. Don't be worried about the price, they say you get what you pay for well this product didn't cost much, but I couldn't ask for anything better, so I will be sticking with Andis!!! I am very happy with my product. The best part of the entire thing is, i knew i would like the iron, I've use nothing but this brand for years, however, we are unable to find it in ANY store, and we searched a LARGE number of stores, "Beauty', "Walmart", "Kmart" and "Ultas" with no luck. And we searched for very close to a year,. My "son" suggested "Amazon" and what blessing!!!! First "search" BAM, Amazon had it. THEN before I knew it, We had it here!!! PERFECTION!!
