These flat irons have been around for quite sometime. My roommate from college purchased these in 05' when she first heard about them in Black Hair magazine and they live up to their description. They get the job done without making you feel like you're 'over-frying' your hair. I like that when they're on they don't give off that burnt smell like a hot of electric hair products do. The carrying case that comes with it is so convenient when you're staying overnight somewhere and need your flat iron. These are a good buy.

All I can say is that this Fusion Tools flat iron is the best one that I have ever used on my own hair and my clients. Being a hair stylist, I have gone through many different brands! Heats up very fast which is great for the salon, hair doesn't get pulled or get "caught" in the plates, very smooth, great for any type of hair, and can be used with many different temps.
