SO i have always been skeptical about reviews but I can honestly tell you that this product is awesome! I have very very coarse hair and this flat iron makes my hair bone straight! Looks like I have a perm when I get done with my hair. Would definitly recomend this product to anyone that wants really straight and healthy hair!

I had one of these flat irons a few years ago and it broke...No it's not flimsy, I dropped it on tile and the plates cracked. It was my fault and this can happen to ANY ceramic flat iron if you drop it. Anyway, my old one worked great and so does this new one! The one I had before was blue and this one is green, other than that it's the SAME product! I paid over 100 bucks at the mall for my old one...so when I saw it here for around 25 dollars I was skeptical but I ordered it anyway and I am glad I did!

I should have ordered this iron from Amazon a long time ago! After my other one broke I tried various brands of flat irons and wasn't happy with a single one. This is the ONLY brand I can find that straightens, does loose waves and curls, has adjustable temperature AND doesn't catch my hair and glides over it smoothly. I have fine, wavy hair and this is the best iron I have found so far.

These also come in several fabulous colors and this green is nice. I also have carpet in my new house so I don't have to worry about dropping it. These are actually pretty sturdy irons and I had my old one for quite a while. I'm very happy with the new one and it was delivered on time. Thanks Amazon!

I was a little nervous about ordering from Amazon, but I was not disappointed at all. I actually already have a Colorful Seasons 3 (paid $100 at mall), but it was time for an upgrade to CS 5. I ordered this one on 3/29, it shipped on 3/31 and I received it on 4/7, a week later! I was happy because I live in Ohio, and it shipped from Nevada! Anyway, I was amazed that the temp is in farenheit this time, goes up to 450 instead of 410, the cord swivels effortlessly, and it has floating plates! The Coloful Seasons 3 did not, although it worked very well. I am so satisfied with iron and would recommend it to anyone. Also, I am African-American and have been growing my relaxer out for two years, and this gets my hair super straight, shiny, silky, bouncy and doesn't damage my hair at all. I can't say enough about this iron! I've tried the Maxi Glide, Corioliss and Sedu Pro Tourmeline and was quite unsatisfied, so I know.

i heard about this straightener from a friend of mine who got hers on amazon and loved it! i borrowed hers for a trial run and endedup liking it so much, i got my own! then for my sister's birthday i decided to get her one too. this time the shipping was exceptionally fast, i had it a only a few days later, which was fantastic.

i also like that there are many colors available... i got the red one and they have the green and blue. if we all get ready together, we know who's is who, and we all have fabulous hair :)

I have never written a review before but I felt it was my due dilligence to write one for this. I never buy ANYTHING unless the reviews are good. So here is my input. Point blank period they are GREAT. GO AHEAD buy them. You won't regret it. They heat up fast and knock every kink out my hair in a snap. Just think of me flat ironing my whole head of african american hair on my 15 minute break at work. Hurry up price changes I paid $43.00 and that was the BEST $43.00 i have spent in a very long time.
