I had used this product about 2 years ago, and it had left my hair straight and shiny. However, the beauty supply store I used to get it at stopped carrying it. I was very happy to find it online, and I bought it expecting similar results. I was so excited I bought the starter package for $220, which includes the clarifying shampoo & treatment (both shown here), the maintenance shampoo and conditioner (sold separately), etc. However, I think they have changed the formulation on the straightener, or maybe GZ shipped me bad product or something, because it does not work. I thought maybe it was me, so I tried it several times, to no avail. I bought a new flat iron in case the old one was not heating to 450, I left it on my hair 4 days instead of 3, and nothing works. As soon as I wash my hair, it kinks up again, no matter what I do. I am very disappointed. I have heard about Brazilian Blow Out, and maybe I will try. If someone has used something that works on coarse dry frizzy hair, please let me know.
