leaves hair feeling soft and doesnt frizz
as well as a great buy for the price can't beat itI am a white female with blonde, fine-textured hair down to my shoulder blades. Unfortunately, I have enough hair for 10 people--very thick, full of body, and actual curls at the the last 4 inches of hair. There are only 4 settings on this iron with the hottest being "thick," or 374 deg. I use all the products recommended including a protectant (with Argan oil) for use with a flat iron. After using this flat iron several times on my hair as well as running down the hair shafts every time twice, I still have curl at the ends of my hair shafts. I even had my VERY masculine husband help me so I could section off my hair into several, much smaller areas (my hair is so thick that it won't stay held in place by various types of clips including pelican and alligator) and using it on only 1 inch thick sections with a width narrower by 1/3 than the iron. I even had a friend bring over her hair dresser who tried once (after just glancing at it and telling me I wasted my money) and gave up. He said I was doing everything correctly except using the right flat iron. For those of us who cannot afford a CHI, we have to take what we can afford. I'm a professionally trained dog groomer who has used Andis products for years with wonderful results (I know, I know, so don't say it) so thought I was getting a quality product. I guess I should have known that I would end up with a "poodle-head." :)
