I was hesitant to purchase these flat irons because of the UNBELIEVABLY low price. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of heating and the professional grade styling results of the 1/2 inch and 1 inch irons! I have VERY coarse hair and have tried other flat irons in the past with poor results. These are PROFESSIONAL GRADE flat irons and I highly recommend them!!!

I have several flat irons..including some of the more pricey ones (i.e. CHI) and this by far does what it says and more! If you're like me; in between lengths right now, this flat iron gives you smooth and professional quality results. You don't really have to strain your arms and neck going over piece 3 and 4 times to get it straight! Even when my hair grows to a longer length, I'll still be reaching for these to smooth the roots and have universal straightness throughout my hair!

...this is a nice iron for the price. No temperature control -just an on/off switch -but it gets very hot quickly. Narrow flat irons (1/2" 5/8") like this one are great for straightening and styling short, super curly hair. However, Extreme Beauty Supply charges $7.49 for shipping! (first class mail)

I just wanted to make a quick review to confirm that yes, you can use it to curl your hair. It has great curved edges and heats up extremely well to 450 degrees farenheit. I only wanted a flat iron for the purpose of curling and this gives amazing results! It does not stick to my hair.

The only problem I had was it was small, when I recieved the package I thought nothing was it in! Because I have very thick, long, frizzy hair I wish it was a little bigger, how ever it can hold large amounts of hair so I think I will be all good.

The shipping was pricey (I live in Canada) but it's worth it compared to getting a brand flat iron. Does the job and hasn't broke down!

I found the heat great but the plates didn't glide across my hair. I have thick and coarse hair and this didn't really seal the cuticle. Left my hair straight but didn't really leave it shiny.
