I should have believed the reviews and not bothered with this. I have the regular size Chis and thought these would be great for my locker and traveling to Europe. However it doesn't get hot enough straighten my hair, despite having fine and easy to style hair. I ended up returning it.

Given the name for this product my wife was expecting the best of the best. This is far from it. It does not heat up enough to do her hair. She has an inexpensive brand for a local discount store that works better than this one. So for the money, not what we expected.

This flat iron works in the US out of the box and in Europe with only a 110 to 220 adapter which is not included. You do not need a converter just a plug adapter.

I have thick, wavy hair and need a flat iron to get a smooth-looking blowout. This Mini CHI is the perfect size and weight to stow away in my bag, and since it's dual-voltage, I can bring it anywhere I travel. I wouldn't use it as my primary flat iron (I have a standard size CHI for that), but I would highly recommend it for travel or for touch-ups at the gym or at work.
