I bought my daughter this chi for x-mas. It is May and it started to zap and spark and one side went out. They will not return the chi and said to just dispose of it. How terrible. Something I spent money on could actually cause a fire and harm my family and they won't make it right. I will reconsider buying from Amazon again.

This is my first chi, although I have used one many times before because my mom and sister both have them. I just couldn't decide if I wanted to breakdown and by one myself. I'm glad I did! No more pulling my hair as I straighten it. I also use it to curl my hair and it works great!

It doesn't seem like a real Chi, but it does work really well. When it heats up it kind of smells like the plastic is melting, I haven't had any major issues with that besides the smell. All in all it is an ok product for the price.
