I haven't had this long, so I'll be sure to update in one month. I really think titanium is the way to go. This thing heats up so freaking fast. It does not snag on hair at all. I also found that a lower heat setting than I'm used to works on this, which is great because that means less damage.

It doesn't have that cheap feeling when you hold it either.

I want to say that the instruction guide states that warranties are not given for unauthorized sellers, including amazon; so there actually isn't a 1 year warranty. Something to take note of.

I bought this after reading the great reviews and deciding to take a chance and see for myself. I can say that I'm very impressed with the quality of this product so far. I haven't had it long, so I can't speak about if the product holds up in the long run though. It feels solid, not flimsy when you hold it, so it's a little heavier than my last flat iron. I love the titanium plates, they never snag my hair, and they glide smoothly over my hair, but hold it firmly at the same time. And I like the chime that alerts you when the temp is correct. I love the range of heat settings and the fact that it holds the heat well so I can use a lower heat setting with less damage to my hair. I would definitely recommend this flat iron and I'm very happy with my purchase!
