This is my third flat iron and I loove it! It takes 5 seconds to heat up and has enough heat to straighten my hair.
5/5I bought this flat iron because it is dual voltage and I will be going to Europe this fall, because of all the great reviews, and because its a $200 flat iron that I got for WAY less.
The flat iron shipped and arrived to me quickly, so that was very nice. It straightens my hair a little bit better than my previous $30 flat iron, smooths any frizzy ends, it's very light weight (which is great for travelling and even comes with a travel pouch), and has a nice high end look to it.
Except for one thing...this flat iron caused static in my hair! Like static to where your hair kind of stands up. The biggest issue is that my hair is staticy in the winter anyway, I don't need a flat iron enhancing that AND causing it in the summer time too. I was kind of surprised considering this isn't a cheap flat iron.
Well, I returned it but ended up buying the Magellan flat iron (the grey and orange one) from Magellans.com and it's AWESOME, and it was only $60.I have gone through my fair share of flat irons ranging from ones bought at beauty supply stores to ones from the various mall kiosks that claim to give you the best product with a lifetime warranty. Through all the ones I've tried that I bought on my own, to trying friends, as well as ones from my 2 sisters, this is by far one of the best flat irons. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it heats up with lest strokes needed to get your hair flat. Also, I have curly/wavy hair and this product was able to get my ends and unruly curly areas straight! My only hope is that it keep performing this well for a while.
