Travel Hair Dryer - European 800 Watt

The prongs on the end of the cord did not fit into outlets of the hotels where I stayed in Italy; others have not found this to be true. I got an adapter and it worked fine. It was definitely better than the hotel hairdryers!

Maybe I didn't read the details close enough, but this hair dryer is smallsmaller than my hand. I have long hair and this will not do the trick. I'll have to buy a hair dryer once I get to Spain because I'm returning this one.

Just what I was looking for. Could not find a hair dryer with this wattage. Others are much too hot for my curly hair. Love this one and it's a great size for traveling.

My wife tried the dryer and it did not do the job. It was a 220/110 (native 2202V) volt device that was supposed to be 800 watts. Maybe if we operated it at the 220 volt power level it would perform well, but at the USA 110 volt power input it did not perform at all. Worse yet the Seller stuck us with a return shipping fee. We had to pay $12.00 to return the item that did not work. My advice is think twice before buying this item if you are going to use it in the USA.

To be fair to the seller it did correctly describe the product but not the fact that it would barely operate when used on the USA power grid of 110V.

Update 05/30/2013 After contacting the Seller today to check on the status of my return. The Seller also refunded my return shipping cost and was very interested in how the hair dryer performed. I would rate the product a one star and the reseller a five star.
