The straightener itself was exactly as the seller described. It arrived early and worked perfectly which is why i gave it 5 stars. The only problem i have with it is that it doesn't work for my hair type. I have tried 5 different straighteners none worked, but this one came the closest!

vidal sassoon is usually a good brand. but it doesnt straighten hair very well. i dont recommend this to anybody.

This item is as described, but it just doesn't work great. My hair does not need a lot to become straight, but this bulky straightener just takes forever to get the job done. It also takes a LONG time to heat up. It is a decent backup for the price, but I wouldn't recommend it for a primary straightener.

I bought this product to replace another Vidal sassoon gold flat iron, but the two products are worlds apart in value and performance. The first one is bought in a brandsmart, it cost me 13$ and lasted 7+ years. It had 20 variable heat settings, didn't snag my hair EVER. it was great. This model doesn't offer the same control, and the two times I used it my hair snagged and came out frizzy. I'm a white female with fine wavy hair, it's not hard to iron it. This product, It just sucks. I returned it to amazon and will find something else.
