Karmin Envy Pink Km4000p Titanium Ionic 1" Flat Iron

This straightener just came in a few days ago, and so far, I absolutely love it! the color is a little darker than what the picture shows, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I used to have a remington straightener, but it didn't work very well so I bought this one. I was debating on whether to get a Chi or the Karmin. Some of my friends have chi and it works well, but there is no adjustable heat setting and there have been some reviews saying that it breaks easily. So far, I'm happy with getting this one. My hair is naturally straightish but has some really weird kinks in it. It's also pretty fine, but not super thin.

Pros:

Heats very fast, nice color, straightens well, doesn't damage my hair as much as my old straightener. If you squeeze the plates closer together, the plates kinda go in. Not sure how to explain it, but chi's do the same thing. I also really like how theres an adjustable heat setting and a swivel cord.

Cons:

If you look real closely there are little cracks in the plates. I dont think its a defect and its probably was made that way. it isn't super noticeable, and it doesn't seem to be affecting how well it works, but it's was just a little weird to me.

I have super thick hair and was worried that this iron could not straighten my hair. I was really impressed when it did straighten my hair, I have tried many irons and nothing has worked as well as this flat iron. It left my hair silky smooth and looked healthy. Plus very quick shipping.

I bought this product thinking that it was going to work with my thick curly hair as previous reviews from everyone and it def didnt. i returned back, it was a waste of time.

The product is excellent but after using it for a while it gets really hot even on the handle side. I have to use a cloth over it if not it's too hot to continue.
