Suave Keratin Infusion, 30 Day Smoothing Kit , 24 Oz

I purchased this product from Walmart and used it prior to reading any reviews. My mistake.

My hair is originally curly and thick, and most Keratin treatments have left it shiny and beautiful.

Being that I have used other Suave products that agreed with my hair and body, I thought I would give this Keratin treatment at try. Never did I expect this product to be of such poor quality.

Upon the first use of the Suave Keratin treatment, my hair was left coarse, brittle, weak, unmanageable, and even curlier than I originally started with. Not one improvement was made to my hair, but plenty of damage.

I have been unable to correct the damage that was done to my hair by this product, so I keep wearing it in a ponytail since I used this product march 27, 2013.

DO NOT. I REPEAT: DO NOT BUY OR USE THIS PRODUCT. You will cause irreparable damage to your hair, and you'll regret it for a long time.

**** Update after 2 months. I chose not to cut my hair and began using Alba Botanica natural hawaiian Shampoo, Gardenia, and the Hawaiian Hair Care Honeydew Nourishing Conditioner by Alba Botanica as well, and they have helped my hair greatly. I do not use mousse or any chemicals on my hair.

It's sad that I still have the after effects of this poor quality product. I was hoping that like the package says, it will last 30 days...I know that if it worked well, it would have lasted 2 weeks.

I've used this product before. It won't necessarily damage everyone's hair. If you have a past of using other straightening products you might not want to get it.

I don't understand the bad reviews. I had the expensive salon treatment done and this one worked just as good, if not better. My hair feels like silk. The only downfall is it only lasts 30 days but, it is well worth it to me.

I am sorry this product didn't seem to work for some. I used it and it was great. Granted, it wasn't as amazing as the salon $100+ treatments I have had done in the past, but it worked well, kept my hair straight, and I think, lasted longer than 30 days. I would definitely recommend this to others. Good luck!

my wife has tried this product and never had any issues as such other reviewers are complying to have had, i guess this product depends on the way you use it and how you use it. but great product as a whole.
