Bed Head Bh214cn1 Rumor Tourmaline Nano-Ceramic Straightener, 2-Inches

I had this straightener somewhere between 3 1/2-4 years. I had crazy, choppy layers in my hair (my hair is very think FYI) and I would use the straightener to straighten, but mostly to flip my hair out. It worked marvelously. Now, I no longer have it because for me too, the lights stopped working on it, and then a while after that when I would use it, it would make electric pop and crackle sounds before finally deciding to stop turning on. I used it on 400 degrees everytime, and anything you use for years and years at that temperature is going to short out. Personally, I think it is worth the price. As hot as I used it, and as much hairspray as I used, it never ever damaged my hair, and that's saying something. I went to Ulta to get a second bed-head straightener when this one died, and they didn't have any. I wound up with a Hot Tools, and I really don't care for it too much. My hair has become damaged, it doesn't feel nice in my hand, and if I tried to flip my hair with it I just don't think it would work. I've been growing my hair out, but in the spring (when it'll be long enough to do Locks of Love) I plan on chopping my hair off to go back to flippy, and I will be ordering this straightener when I do.

Pulls hair can't get close to bottom roots. Not good for short hair. Love bed head products. Have curlers but this just didn't work out for me.

I decided to purchase this straightener because of the reviews and how inexpensive it is and I have to say I think it's worth every penny and more. I had a Chi and did not like it and got rid of it. I have only used it a couple times but it does a great job. I have thick hair that is somewhat wavy and I used the hottest setting and only had to use it twice on the same area of hair. I did not have to use any product which I was happy about and it has a 3 year warranty. You can't go wrong with this flat iron. There is nothing I can complain about.
