The CHI Turbo is the best hot iron I have used......Heats rapidly....So, if you are needing a quick touch-up, not a problem with this....It heats within a minute, so no waiting.......

I would highly recommend this product if you have long hair that is thick, coarse, frizzy or unmanagable and you like that pin straight style. I have very long, thick hair and this gets it straight in no time. However if youre looking for a more versatile straightener that will allow you to create several different styles, I would not go for anything this big. There also isnt really any need for someone with short hair to use this straightener. For me, its more of a luxury because its super fast to use on my long hair and does a great job, but I still use the 1" on a more regular basis.

As far as the straightener itself, it is very sturdy and nicely made. I have owned one of these for over 5 years and it still works just like the it did when I bought it. I never have a problem with accidentally turning it off while using it like I have with other straighteners. It heats up very quickly and has adjustible temperature from about 200 to alittle over 400 degrees which is nice. It never pulls or my hair and it always leaves it very soft and shiny.

The first day I used it the emblems started to rub off. It does t stay hot you have to put it down after every use and wait for it to heat up again. I've used my friends before and it worked much better. I think this was a good deal because it was a reject. You get what you pay for I guess...

This flat iron is amazing, I didnt buy mine from amazon but I have this exact model. I love that it tames my thick puffy hair and leaves it smooth and silky. I've had mine for over 2 years and it still works perfectly. If mine ever broke I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
