Didn't live up to my expectations at all. This was the first Bed Head product I tried and it didn't live up to my standards. I have wavy hair and all it did was make my hair look like it needs washed. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I do love me some Toni & Guy products. I've been trying to find a replacement for their Catwalk Fashionista Smooth n Shine but have yet to find one that I love as much. Control Freak works great for smoothing but doesn't really give me the "umph" I'm looking for in shine. I will always have it on hand though, at least until I can find a suitable replacement.I have unpredictable, medium thick, curly/wavy hair with a bit of kink to it and this is the only stuff that feels completely non-sticky and weightless but still controls the frizz and makes my hair more manageable. Put it on wet and blow dry and it feels like you didn't use any product but your hair is much more controlled. I think the negative reviews are coming from people who either put it on wet hair and don't blow dry it or else put it on dry hair, neither of which are the best use for this product. This serum is an essential part of my hair routine. I have very fine, wavy and frizzy hair that I used to have to straighten daily. Using this serum, I don't have to use the straightener -just using the hair dryer I can straighten my hair without damaging it. It is a bit sticky, as in, if you touch your hair all day then your hands will get sticky. Other than that, this stuff gives me super smooth and shiny hair that looks healthy and it's the best humidity-resistant serum I've ever used -and I've tried a lot of products over the years. Along with the Tigi Strong Mousse, I highly recommend this product!Edit: To everyone who says this product makes their hair look dirty or flaky: You're NOT supposed to put the serum on your roots! That seems obvious to me, but it sounds like everyone who gave this a poor review put the product on their roots. Evenly distribute the product through the ends of the hair while wet, then blow dry straight with a paddle brush. Easy enough. This stuff works great.
