This is a fantastic Hair Dryer, its quiet and easy to handle due to its light weight. However, there are a few problems. The instructions say to remove attachment tip if using to dry hair on the high setting and I could not get the tip off easily because it was glued on by the manufacturer. It also says to utilize the tip only if styling on the low setting, and I'm unable to reattach it so it will stay on. The other flaw was the red light on the handle which stays on while plugged in, even when turned off so unplugging it each time after use is wise. The high setting is more like a low setting but does dry your hair in only a few minutes. Works well with the 220v setting but doesn't come with a wall plug adapter.
Weight: 14.2 oz and in this the plug weighs 2 oz.
Many travel hair dryers I encountered were quite crummy this one, by contrast, is nice. It sits well in the hand. Air flows is nicely out, seemingly in consequence of some rational considerations of that flow in design. Unlike most travel dryers, that block one of the heat settings at the higher voltage, this dryer has a true double voltage selection separate from the heat selection, i.e. at both voltage settings you have the same two heat/speed settings available. In travel I use a dryer to finish the drying of clothes as well, so having the choice of settings gains for me extra importance.
The only negative is in the weight it could be a tad lighter for travel. The plug that features a resettable protection against current leakage contributes to that weight. In spite of the dryer's overall weight, it is a keeper.It is very light, which does make it ideal for travel. But, it is not what I had in mind. I thought that it would come with a converter of some sort, and that is what made it a travel blow dryer, but it did not. Other than that, it is nice.
