This tiny straightener is great for inserting into short hair. Let's you grab close to root and slide down which is just what I was looking for. Those longer larger straightener aren't able to get in there close to the head. It is ceramic but not as high quality and smooth as some of my more expensive straightener but for the money, it's a quick fix for short curly hair.
