Cortex Platinum Flat Iron, Giraffe Print

I have used this straightener for a couple months because my old Remmington one died on me. This straightener fried my hair and damaged it to the point of no return.I have tried heat protection spray on top of every conditioning treatment I could find and nothing can seem to fix my hair. My hair is very fine and even on the lowest setting, this flat iron is too destructive for it. I have just purchased a new one online and I am hoping for better luck.

From other reviews online I've found that alot of people like this one but more so for thicker hair. If you have fine hair like me, I wouldn't risk it.

This was one of the first expensive straighteners I bought in college and I will never pay more for a "better one" this is high quality and cut my straightening time in half from the cheap ones at department stores. I have owned three now and only needed to replace them because I dropped them and the ceramic plates broke.

I have been using cheap Conair type straighteners from Target for years. I finally broke down and bought this one when I saw it at TJ Maxx for $29.99, according to the box, this normally retails for $200. This makes my hair look like I walked out of a salon with pin straight shiny hair. I have very thick wavy hair and works like a charm for me. If you have super thin/fine hair this straightener is probably to powerful for you, but for girls with lots of hair this is totally worth it, and it is in an adorable print! Love!!
