Original HerStyler Ceramic Green Hair Straightener

I love the color of the straightener. But what matter is what it can do , it does my hair really nice and i have thick , course hair and it makes it looks like i just walked out the salon. The heat is really high so dont burn yourself , and another thing that scares me is that if i drop it , it will break and i dont think Amazon covers the insurance that Herstyler does. So just be careful , its worth it though because it is real and really cheap and does the same job. normally this product from Herstyler would prolly be $150+ . So i recommend it .

I bought my straightener in March of 2007 from a kiosk in the mall for $105. I fell in love with it when the guy did my hair. I wasn't thinking that he was going to tell me that it cost $200. After he told me the price, I was hestitant to get it. He saw this and ended up knocking the price down. I am so glad he did this because I had a hard enough time paying that much money for it but it has been worth it.

At the beginning of this week the straightener started acting funny. It will heat up when it is layed down flat but turns off after you pick it up. Personally, I think 3 years and 8 months proves that this product is well made. Out of 10 other straighteners by various companies I have owned, not one of them lasted over a year.

It gets crazy hot so you have to be careful. I burnt myself only twice in almost 4 years. It was hard for me to adjust at first because I kept wanting to grab the end to help keep a good grip on my hair and pull down. Once, I got past that, it was easy sailing.

Youtube provides plenty of videos on how to curl your hair with any straightener. Personally, I loved the way it made my hair look once it was curled but I noticed that a lot of my hair broke in the process. It never did by just straightening. I was shocked to see how it had effected my hair in such a negative way. I never used it again to curl. I still think this product deserved all 5 stars because it is meant to straighten your hair.
