I saw the exact iron for sale in the shopping mall in Las Vegas while on vacation. The salesgirl wanted to sell it to me at first for $199. I told her no. As I was leaving, she offered to sell it to me for $99.

The demo in Las Vegas was wonderful. I felt it was too expensive for my budget, so when I saw it on Amazon, I grabbed it! It is a wonderful product. I use it every day and it is perfect! I am a very happy customer.

I'm African American & was pretty skeptical on using a plug in flat iron rather than a hot stove & good old fashion flat iron. It works pretty good & you just have to put a little more pressure into the press or go over the section a couple more times. It's definitely a little quicker because it stays hot & never cools down. Only reason I can't give it a 5 is because I've had mines less then a year & it's already Starting to chip away it's pink. But as long as it still works, I can deal with it. Just for the price you pay...it shouldn't chip.

My daughter has thick, wavy hair and trying to get it straight would usually take us at least an hour using the different flat irons we've tried in the past. Even though we try to do it in small sections, we still end up doing at least three passes which I'm sure could cause a lot of damage to the hair.
