Jilbere Tourmaline Series Flat Iron

I've had this flat iron for about 5 years and I love it. Makes my hair silky and straight, even in SC humidity. I love the long cord... very handy for doing my girls' hair. I like the 1 inch because of the versatility. I can flip or curl with it. Like someone else said, it is very hot, so I would probably stay away from the highest setting unless you have very coarse hair. Otherwise it will burn the ends. Literally. I only made that mistake once... smokey. However, once you find your setting it's awesome. My hair stays straight until the next time I wash it.

This is by far, the best flat iron out there. I have tried lots and most of them are pretty junky. Well, they cost you big bucks but they don't do much to your hair. This one really flattens your hair and it does quite a bit of hair at one time. I've even had a CHI before and while it did work nicely, it only did small sections at one time, so it took me at least twice as long. The product is the best. It's affordable, it flattens very nicely and it works quickly. I've already bought 2 for myself (the first one was broken by someone). Give this product a try and you'll absolutely love it!

I have now had two of this brand and series. My previous one lasted about 5 years. My hair rarely has static. About the smell, of course it will have some smell when you first open the package and fire it up. It went away in about three or four uses. That definitely would not keep me from recommending it! Will continue to buy this if I ever need a replacement!
