I just received my Red By Kiss Ceramic Root Straightener with the 1" barrel. I decided to go natural and wanted to straighten my edges to blend in with my relaxed hair. This product works great, but you MUST use some sort of polisher, serum, or pressing oil so that the combs teeth glide through your hair. The comb allows you to get very close to your scalp without the fear of burning your scalp.

I thought this would be the answer to my prayers WRONG! The temperature wasn't consistent and it just wasn't enough for my natural hair. I don't have really coarse hair and my daughter has fine curly hair, but it didn't even make a small difference.
