As I use this product I take caution and advise anyone who wishes to purchase this product to research what formaldehyde is. The only issue I have is the labeling of ingrediants and amount of Formaldehyde to which this product contains. This product works very well on african american hair, I would certainly advise anyone who is seeking an alternative to perms/ relaxers to give this product a try however I advise with caution. I have 4b4a curls (google it) and my curls have stretch to around a 3b3c (google it) pattern. My hair reponds very quickly to flat irons. The fumes are very concentrated and the product warns for the user to avoid inhalation of the product which is unavoidable if your doing it your self. I would suggest using this product outside if able to, and have someone do it for you just to be sure that the product is evenly distributed. I will see how long this product lasts me and give an update comment on my results. I am looking foward to it lasting 4-6 months because of my curl pattern, I will let you know. Also prevents my hair from frizzing up in humid wheather (live in florida) . My hair is very light and movable with a lot of body and a lot of shine. The only reason I purchased this product knowing that it contained formaldehyde is because I am using it on a small section of my hair (leave out section) and will only use this product every 6 months.
Bye bye long wait at the salon!!! I never dreamt that in a million years something would come along that would make it possible for me to get these results at home. I can't stop touching my hair. The smell is not as "chemical smelling" as my other treatment but it does have some fumes when heated so please be careful not to let the fumes get in your eyes. Other that that it's awesome and does not burn. Love it.This stuff is the real deal so definitely make sure to apply it in a room with a open window because it can irritate eyes and nose when you blow-dry your hair. I will see how long it lasts but so far I'm happy.It's a great product .All I can say I finally found what I was looking for .I've tryed many keratin products befor .But this one is the best for thick and curly hair .
