Okay you have not seen nappy hair until you meet my hair I have the real authentic African Amazon female warrior hair! No kidding. I did not want to relax my hair cos it get very thin quickly. A friend suggested this product (I have worn wigs and weaves etc for years!). I used this product and could not believe how soft my warrior hair became. My hairdresser used the 4 step system on my hair at the salon. I am African American with relaxed and color treated hair. These products made my hair so soft and manageable that it looked like I had just had a relaxer that day. I purchased the products for home use off of Amazon as this was cheaper than buying the individual products in the salon. I get great results at home too,not as good as the salon because I am not as proficient with the dryer, flat iron etc. I disagree with the writer that did not like the 4th step (the spritz) I touch my hair up each morning with a little heat from a curling iron and I use that as my heat protector by spraying it on each section as I get ready to curl it. I visited a hair stylist who decided to use this set on me because I had a lot of new growth but wanted to stretch my relaxer. MISTAKE. I've heard many people rave about this product, so I said ... why not? I'll admit after my hair got done it was amazingly straight, it looked really good, but I noticed the texture of my hair had changed. My hair was normally wavy ( even when relaxed, , soft, and brown. After this product my hair looked stiff limp, dark colored, and felt harder. It also felt like there was a foreign coating on my hair strands. That was about about 5 months ago from today, since then my hair no longer holds moisture. I've had split ends like crazy. Thanks to this product , I've lost 4-6 inches of hair. Originally hair was near my bra strap at about 14in-15in of length. Now it's about an inch and a half above my shoulders.
