First of all let me say this iron worked Great! My daughter and I have two different textures of hair. Her natural curl pattern is very coarse with a tight curl. Both of my great grandmother's were biracial and I ended up having what some African American's call "good hair." My curl pattern is very loose and does not take much to straighten.Our stylist uses the Chi and Babyliss. In my opinion this product is just as good as both those irons. I was able to get my daughter's hair silky and straight. I highly recommend this iron for any texture of hair. I bought my iron at TJ Maxx for $24.99...fractions of the price of a Chi or Babybliss.
