I would not buy this again for 2 reasons. One is the extremely short cord. Even standing right next to the outlet it can become an issue. Secondly, there are bottons both on the side and on top, with no good way to keep a comfortable handhold on it. An example of how both of these are a problem: I was reaching to straighten a piece of hair towards the back of my head, and the short cord caught on the side of a drawer, and pulled the whole straightener down (out of my loose grip) until I was holding the hot plates. All this happened in a second -luckily the burn was not bad.I works well enough as a straightener for my short hair. But it's badly designed.
