I love this product and have been using it for a couple of years. I have moderately curly hair and this balm really settles my hair down so that I can take a round brush to it when I blow dry. Also, I have sensitive skin and have had issues with other products, but no issues with Framesi!
The carrying case ripped when I tried to put my irons inside. Couldn't use it for my trip. I was told this larger size would hold both a flat iron and a curling iron, but it doesn't.
I combed my fine, thin hair up from the scalp and it did give some body and some nice fullness to my hair. It didn't do much for the extreme frizziness where I slept on it wet (it might have if I'd used any product) but it made the rest noticeably shiny, smooth and full. Almost like a shampoo ad!
I bought this Valera Swiss'x recently because I needed a flat iron that would heat up to 450 degrees F. I already have a wonderful Valera blow dryer so I trusted the brand. It's a fantastic hair straightener!! I'm very impressed:)
I received this iron and have had a few of them in the past from TS-2. I was expecting the same quality as I have had before but how was I wrong. In the first week the plates separated from the heating element and had melted away from the iron.. Crazy.. I am a pro-stylist and have never had that happen. I contacted folica.com and they sent a new one out... Took a bit... Then that iron wouldn't turn on after 3-4 weeks or so... I don't know what happened to quality control with these irons but they are total crap. Now I have wasted all of this time and again need new irons to work with... BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

I previously had this flat iron and it quickly became my favorite. Two years later it dies on me and so I came onto Amazon and TADA I found it. I recommend it to anyone as it is wonderful. I have been using the speed waver for about 2 years now. I absolutely love the big curls it makes. You have to be patient and do your hair in sections to get the ideal look. I get so many comments on how beautiful my hair looks when I use this. I read some comments on it burning the hair, if you let it sit on a certain part of your hair for too long it will start smoking and give your hair a burnt smell. I suggest using a heat protector on your hair before hand and making quick krimps in small sections. I use it on the highest setting and the burning smell has only happened a few times to me. I would also recommend a great shampoo and conditioner, and actually leave the conditioner on about 10 minutes before washing it out. This is an amazing tool, but like the flat iron or curling irons, it's not great for your hair so you need to take extra special care of it while using this.

I purchased this upon recommendation from a friend with naturally wavy hair. I have very long (halfway down my back, all one length), stick-straight, fair but thick hair. I can make beachy waves in my hair with this curler/waver in about 15 minutes. Start at the bottom with most of your hair pinned up, then pull down sections and run the waver through. It takes a bit of trial and error to get the waves "right "(e.g., you must pull it through at the right lenght, then relax the hold while you wave the next section so it doesn't pull out the first "wave") but I mastered it in one/two uses. The waves/curls stay in all day unbelievable for my hair! So much better than a curling iron, when my curls/waves fall flat in an hour. LOVE it and will definitely use this! Go ahead and buy this product without hesitation. It gets warm very fast and it is awesome! I had a wonderful hairdo in less than 10 minutes (note: I have a lot and thick hair). This is the product to get if you love soft waves. I said: "were have you been all my life" ; )
They're not kidding when they say silk. This stuff makes my hair feel incredibly satiny, but not oily. I have a lot of very wavy hair. It didn't straighten my hair as much as I would have hoped, but it does straighten it some and helps a lot to contain the frizz. Also, I thought this might be too expensive for the amount, but I have since changed my mind. A little bit of this goes a long way. My hair is past shoulder length and very thick, and a pea-sized amount does the trick.
