I was concerned because the price almost seemed too good to be true, but this straightener works just like the one demo'ed to my daughter at the mall. I was even able to curl her hair like the girl at the mall did! Boy am I glad I checked online before forking out over a hundred dollars for this.
I received this iron and have had a few of them in the past from TS-2. I was expecting the same quality as I have had before but how was I wrong. In the first week the plates separated from the heating element and had melted away from the iron.. Crazy.. I am a pro-stylist and have never had that happen. I contacted folica.com and they sent a new one out... Took a bit... Then that iron wouldn't turn on after 3-4 weeks or so... I don't know what happened to quality control with these irons but they are total crap. Now I have wasted all of this time and again need new irons to work with... BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

I previously had this flat iron and it quickly became my favorite. Two years later it dies on me and so I came onto Amazon and TADA I found it. I recommend it to anyone as it is wonderful. I ordered the hairdryer and flat iron combo pack and when the flat iron stopped working 6 weeks after I purchased it, I contacted the seller, who refused to replace it. They did tell me that I could send it back to the manufacturer to have it replaced by them, and when I said that it wouldn't be worth me shipping it to the UK to Babyliss, they said "oh it's actually a Conair product and you would send it to them in the US". So, save yourself money and go to Target and purchase a Conair hair dryer. At least when it breaks, you can easily return it. My Girlfriend has a Chi and raves over my diamond she wants to trade me, she has long thick naturally frizzy hair and this dryer makes her hair soft and smooth, no need for a flat iron.... Worth every penny of $ shipped to California.
I bought this from Target a few months ago because my old straightener stopped working and I needed one quick. I wish I would have spent the extra money to get a better one because everytime I use this one my hair gets stuck in the plates and it yanks it out. The heating plates move down when you squeeze the straightener together to straighten your hair and your hair gets stuck underneath it resulting in pulling out a lot of hair each and every time you do it. I wish I would have kept the reciept so I could return it. I absolutely hate it, and I am going to burn it in my fire pit as soon as I get paid and can buy a new one. This was a total waste of my money.
I purchased the Turquoise set, and they are a great bargain over the BT website. The colors are vibrant, buildable, and can be used wet or dry! I absolutely love Bella Terra eyecolors, foundations, blush and bronzers. I recieved my order quickly and well packaged. The stacks twist into each other, so none of them actually have a lid of their own, they must remained stacked to be closed. That's not my favorite option, but definitely not a dealbreaker! This is a great, affordable way to try several different colors at once!
