The product works very well. The only problem I have is that it is very small. While the description gives you the impression that it creates waves, it actually creates a crimp. The product works the way it was intended. However, it is a little misrepresented.

Love this waver. Bought it for my daughters and it's perfect for them. It is very small (guess that's why it's called "minipro") but they have fairly short hair. I wouldn't want to try to use this for someone with really long hair. Works for us and gives a nice result.

Ive used this on trips, fits great in a carryon. I have shoulder length or shorter hair and it has worked fine so far. Practice with it a few times, it is a fine line between too much hair frizz and too little 80s crimp hair.

yes this is small, that is why it is called a minipro. it is about the same size as the small hair straightners, it reminds me of those, and im sure you have at least seen them at walmart or somewhere...

as far as this goes, it works great, heats up quick and hot. doesn't snag or damage my hair, huge plus there!

it is like a double barrel iron, which is what I wanted, I knew that was what this was.

it does give a curly/crimpy wave, you can make it more crimpy by holding it on the hair longer/adding more heat, and then adding hairspray ect for hold, and you can make it more wavy (and not crimpy like) by not holding it on the hair so long and using less heat, using It looser, and it will be more of a wave. the "crimp" comes out as the wavy crimp that you see a lot on tv and such, and it is actually really pretty in my opinion, which is what I use it for, cus I love that look!

it is easy to use on short hair, you can use it on longer hair, but yes it will take longer cus it is smaller...

I got the small one cus I have shoulder length hair and have trouble using my regular size double barrel to get this look cus it is to big, I was so excited to see one of these in a small version,so that I can do my hair like this, even with it being shorter!

I do recommend this product!!! it is great, works great and I see it lasting a while...

I love it though, it is used all the time, and I also do my daughters hair with it, we do have a regular crimper, which she likes as well, but I prefer this and this look, cus it is more wavy then crimpy!

This tiny straightener is great for inserting into short hair. Let's you grab close to root and slide down which is just what I was looking for. Those longer larger straightener aren't able to get in there close to the head. It is ceramic but not as high quality and smooth as some of my more expensive straightener but for the money, it's a quick fix for short curly hair.

It does get quite hot when set on max. If your hair damages easily, be careful. My hair is thick, wavy-curly. I tried a royale straightener at the mall and it was awesome. So i went online and bought this one thinking it would be even better since i could do it with damp hair. Well let me tell you it doesn't work! In fact it made my hair even more frizzy. Not only that but it has these ridges on the so called ceramic blades that my hair got stuck in and would rip out my hair. The ceramic blades didn't feel or look like they did at the mall. They felt like a cheep knock off.

This flat iron is not really that good when used with your hair wet. My hair is thick and it left it frizzy and not smooth at all. I'm going to stick with my CHI flat iron. If you use it on dry hair it's ok, just not as smooth and silky as with the CHI.

I have fine, thin hair with a natural wave to it. I use a few passes of a flat iron to straighten/smooth my bangs and any small twists or waves in my hair from blow drying. I used an older T3 flat iron for many years and loved it because it left my hair smooth and shiny without using any hair products. After I accidentally fried my old T3 in Europe, I picked this one up thinking I would get the same quality from the same brand. However, even on the low temperature settings with light passes, this iron seems to be a lot harder on my hair and never leaves it with a polished look. After I had been using this iron for about 4 months, my hairdresser pointed out to me the places where my hair had clearly been burnt and was breaking from my flat iron -an issue I never had before. I also dislike the fact that the temperature settings are just marked 1-4, rather than what the actual temperatures are, unlike my old T3. I would never take a chance on another T3 iron after this one.

I've been an old school curling iron kinda gal (hey, it's not my fault I grew up as a teen in the 1980's), and finally got tired of trying to use a curling iron to smooth my hair, and of course, get the creases. Just a mess. I recently purchased a T3 hairdryer, and love it, so thought I would try a T3 flat iron. The product is substantial, does not feel cheap, and was quick and simple to use. It truly did take a single pass through my wavy hair to smooth it out, without overheating or frying my hair. Great product!

I bought this item and all I can say is that it is not worth it.. When it arrived it never worked, then I realized they don't give you the option to return it from Amazon easily. You have to contact the seller and you have to pay for the shipping cost in order to get a refund.. Unbelievable that they charge you for an item that was defective in order to return it!!!

Please do not purchase from this vendor. The iron does not work after the first use, it just keeps shutting off and sounds like it is shorting. It was sent to me in a direct tv box! The iron box was not sealed, it was as if they had sent me a defective product already having opened it. I have been a customer of Amazon for years and have never had an issue. I tried this iron when a friend visited me her iron was great! Purchase from a known seller such as sephora. It is as the old saying goes you really get what you pay for. I have never written a poor review but this product seller merits this...like one of the reviews said "shady"...I would have to agree! Please spend the extra and purchase an iron that works!

So I bought this flat iron at the recommendation of my hair stylist. Personally I loved this flat iron. It makes my hair feel amazing, and gets it perfectly straight. I normally have very curly hair, so this is a big thing for me. My biggest problem though is that I went through 2 flat irons in a year because it broke exactly in the same spot. For $125, the materials for the flat iron should not be as easily breakable as it is. This is coming from a person who takes very good care of her tools, and normally goes through flat irons every 3-4 years. I'm very disappointed in this product and will be looking around for another flat iron.

It also seems to just draw into the hair and make it silky, BETTER THAN BIOSILK, BETTER THAN CHI, BETTER WAY BETTER THAN JOHN FRIEDA, this is awesome. Yes it is pricey at $45 dollars plus tax. It is worth every penny though. If frizz is your problem and you have tried everything else, try this, buy this. Use before or after your heat service ( I do it after, and works every time).

I use this after my hair has been washed and condition. Because my hair is thick and full in its natural state I probably use about 3 quarter sized drops.

Then I blow dry my hair with a 2000 watt hair dryer and a vent brush. After that I apply just a quarter sized drop all over then start straightening my hair with a flat iron at 450 degrees. Along with Chi's Iron Guard, my hair comes out silky and incredibly straight.

The silky press lasts about 2 weeks if the weather isn't too humid.

And I think it does a wonderful job of preventing breakage even after using alot of heat.

When I maintain my hair in its natural state, it keeps my hair tangle free! And that's a hard thing to do.

I wish they would make a larger size of it.

I got so exited with the results of my HerStyler flat iron that I wanted to try more of their products so I got this Hair Serum,with my african american relaxed hair I really need to protect my hair of heat, while the price was great for the product I realized after I got it that it do not protect the hair from the heat as other products, I am using this serum now just to seal the hair after I am done flat ironing but with my damp hair before flat ironing I am using Redken Smooth Down heat protection which is great for me.

So if you are looking for heat protection this is not the product, this serum is great for sealing the hair after is dry.

I use on my daughters hair which is pretty thick but not super curly, just kind of wavy and it works well

This is a good straightener and I would buy it again. It leaves my and my daughter's hair strait and silky and heats up fast. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I did fry my hair a little using it on the highest heat setting (450 degrees). No big deal and it's my fault, not the straighteners, but just be aware that it can happen. Also wish it had an automatic timer to turn off by itself. But, like I said, I am happy with it and would buy it again.

This product is a complete scam, do not buy this!! Research it and you will see all the other complaints!

This product does not use ceramic baked plates. The plates are actually metal coated in some type of red paint. The paint chips off soon after using.

The product also has a tendency to malfunction (as in stop working) soon after purchase.

If you can get a hold of a representative at their customer service (which is impossible right now because they have been upgrading their phone systems for a few weeks now) they will pretend to understand your concern and will state to either refund your money or send you a new product.

At this point, nothing happens. Many people have been charged again for shipping costs or for no reason at all. Watch your credit card account!!

Others like me have been waiting for almost 2 months and still have not recieved the 'true' ceramic pro. I have left messages for customer service and sent emails and I have waited for more than 2 weeks for someone to get in contact with me. No one has. No one will.

I bought the wonderful True Ceramic Pro and that amazing price of $140.00. Let me just tell you it is the biggest rip off ever! The paint has come off my iron, and the cord has an electric fault. Which means if you dont play around with the cord, it does not stay on, all this happened in less than 6 months. I called for a replacement 3 months ago and am still waiting for a new one. I should have done my homework and hopefully you have done yours before you buy it. Dont buy it, it is a huge waste of money!

I also fell for the Infomercials, and it did work GREAT at first, then I noticed my hair wasn't looking to great and started breaking off, and the red paint was chipping, I had a very hard time getting through to customer service, but they were very nice, when I did get a hold of them, I got 2 replacements, both chipped, and finally they refunded my money. Oh, and the last one, just stopped working, on top of chipping. And it is metal underneath the red paint. I wonder if they will get sued?? Some sort of class action thing?! it really did ruin my hair, I had very long beautiful healthy hair, almost down to my butt...now my hair is shoulder length and still dead!

I don't know whether the Amazon warehouse that also mails other vendors products accidentally shipped the knockoff from a vendor. The fact remains I bought this from Amazon and I'm very disappointed. The only way to tell definitively if you have bought a knockoff is to call the mfg.at 1-800-3266247 and give them your serial #. It's located on the outside of the metal prong that plugs into the wall outlet. They will let you know right away if it's not authentic.

This is a great flat iron! I have had an amika flat iron which lasted me for about 3 years but it sadly died so I purchased this one on a whim and it turned out to be great! It heats up quickly and makes nice soft curls too!!
