Brocato Vibrastrait Oscillating Flat Iron Straightener (1/2 inch plate)

This straightener is AMAZING. I have very thick, very wavy hair and have been at war with it for about 10 years. This straightener is fantastic. I am not sure WHY the vibration makes it work better but it definitely seems like it does. It is not cheap obviously, but it is definitely the best in its class for a product in this price range. If you have thin or only slightly wavy hair, it might not be worth the investment, but if you have especially thick or coarse hair, this product will be a revelation.

I do not own this straightener, however, my hair stylist does use it on me. I LOVE IT! I have short, wavy hair and it glides through my hair effortlessly and leaves it shiny and very "pretty". I will be saving my $$ to get one because it does not compare to the one I have at home, which pulls my hair and leaves my hair feeling dry and looking dull. This product is well worth the money and I agree with the previous review...the vibration somehow or another does make a huge difference. Enjoy this product....I do! :)

While I didn't buy the straightener from Amazon, I feel compelled to write a review because it's so amazing.

I have coarse, thick, frizzy, naturally curly hair. Blow drying (which I always do before straightening) makes it hugely poofy. My stylist used this Brocato straightener on me, and not only did my hair look and feel soft, sleek, and super straight, the straightness lasted! I can honestly say that after using this straightener, my hair sometimes looks even better the second day! I use the second highest heat setting (420 degrees, I think), and it only takes one or two passes per hair section to get it straight.

Buy this straightener, and you'll never look back.

I did not buy this flat iron from Amazon, but I do own it. I love it. It is fantastic. I have thick curly hair that is past my shoulders. Whatever the vibrations do, they do a fantastic job! It takes almost half the time I spent before to straighten my hair. And if I go to bed after straightening my hair and don't take my shower until the next night, my hair is still stick straight the way I want it to be without having to get up and straighten it again. If you have the money, it is so worth it to get this flat iron. It will pay for itself and no time.

I have had this cricket flat iron for probably almost 7 years now, and I have used it nearly every day. I LOVE it. Continuously heats up fast and even, one pass gets my thick curly hair straight. I am now purchasing another one, only because my plates got broken during an international flight. But after 7 years, it is worth it to get another.

I am a chicross over that will never go back! Titanium plates works in one or two strokes, has temp setting to avoid scorching, and it turns off after 10 minutes unattended! Great item!

I called the company to get a warranty replacement and they want me to pay to ship the dead item to them and a $29.99 handling fee. I only paid $38 with free shipping to begin with. My sister was looking for a pouch for her flat iron. Rolling up the cord while waiting for the iron to cool off is a long process so a good pouch can make a world of difference. I ordered this one because it seemed like a good deal and it turned out to be great. The pouch is large so it can easily fit a larger flat iron as well as a smaller travel iron. On top of that, the little differences set this one apart. The storage area on the back for the cord is great. With some pouches, you have to roll the cord up next to the iron itself and hope it doesn't make contact and burn if it shifts around in a bag or suitcase. Also, this one stores vertically so you don't have to worry about rolling the iron and cord in on itself. It just drops right in, you seal the velcro and you're good to go. If you have a family member or girlfriend you travel with that needs a decent flat iron pouch, this is definitely one you should consider.

It seems a little expensive to pay $20 for a case to hold a straightening iron, but otherwise it does the job just fine

I have never owned a flat before and my Husband got this for me (he was hinting) He bought this from the mall kiosk for $250 (it also came with the hair serum, shampoo, conditioner and hair mask which I could've lived without)Ive had it for 7 months now and I only use the flat iron but I absolutely love it. It takes me about 5 minutes to completely straighten my hair which is a big deal for me because I am a busy busy Mom. I love that it doesn't burn my hair and leaves it shiny and healthy looking. I started getting compliments on my hair after I started using it. I took it with me when I went to visit family and my sister, who has been using a flat iron since she was 12, used it and she loved it too, she even tried to hide it from me so I could forget to pack it and she keep it. Now I know what to get her for christmas, of course I wont pay $250 for it, Ill buy it here for much much cheaper.

Gave this as a Christmas gift. After first use 1/1/2012 it stopped heating. The LED light flickered and that was it. Unfortunately discarded box it came in because of the size of it and cannot return it without it. The product is not made well and for half the price should have gone to "Sally Beauty Supply". Waste of money.
